Otro año / another year

Otro año ha pasado con muchas impresiones de talleres en el 2019. Ha sido un año muy liado, pues hay algo de retraso en la información. Sobre todo, gracias por invitarme y por asistir a los talleres. Espero que ha sido una experiencia inspiradora para vosotros como era para mi! 

Another year just passed with all kind of new impressions from workshops I gave in 2019. It has been a very busy year so there is is some delay in the information. Anyhow, thanks to everybody  for inviting me and for joining the workshops. Hope it has been as inspiring for you all as it was for me!

Un taller en el estudio de mi amiga Jette Mellgren en Odense, Dinamarca, para alumnos más avanzados. Y un bolso encontrado por Jette en Africa, un curioso ejemplo de diseño espontáneo.

A workshop at my friend Jette Mellgren´s studio at Odense, Denmark, for more advanced weavers and others. And a bag found in Africa by Jette, a curious example of spontaneous design.

Un año de talleres maravillosos! A year of wonderful workshops!

Casi al final del año 2018 me gusta compartir con vosotr@s algunas fotos de talleres inolvidables que he impartido en varios países de Europa. Gracias a los organizadores y las asociaciones y a los participantes por compartir risas, conversaciones, concentración e interés y por vuestros trabajos únicos.

Almost at the end of 2018 I´d like to share with you some pictures of unforgettable workshops I gave around Europe. Uno de mis últimos bolsos está seleccionado como finalista en el certamen de artesanía de vanguardia de la Comunidad Valenciana, 2018. Es el primero de una serie de diferentes bolsos en esta técnica que quiero lanzar en 2019. 

Bag in “ fondo de reja”

This bag has been selected as one of the finalists in the contemporary craft price 2018 of the Valencian region. It is the first one of a series of different bags in this technique which I will present in 2019.

a special esparto workshop in May 2019

Esparto workshop 2019, Chelva ( Valencia ) Spain.

In the second half of May ( 20 – 25 ) I will organise an esparto basket making workshop in Chelva, the village were I live. It will be a four days course with lessons in the morning ( 4 hours ) and one morning we will go out to pick esparto grass . The afternoons are free for working on your own or making some beautiful hikes in the surrounding mountains. You will stay in an old village house, equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room, 4 bedrooms, a terrace and a big working space. If you are interested please write me an email and I will give you details and prices. There is a maximum of 4 students.
